Put a skill in your appwith one component.
Install @skillyo/embed and add one component. Your app can fill in the skill's fields and react when a run finishes.
What you can build with it.
A feature that runs on the customer's own data
Your product passes in the account it already has open, and the skill hands back the report, the plan or the fix.
Your method, inside the client portal
Clients run your skill in the portal they already log in to, and get the result in your format.
The team's skill in the dashboard you use
Put the skill next to the numbers it works on, in the internal tool your team opens every day.
How it works.
In Skillyo, create a website key, tick the skill, and list your sites, including http://localhost:3000.
Install the package: npm install @skillyo/embed
Add one component: <SkillyoSkill publicKey="sko_pub_..." skill="your-skill" />
What Skillyo can see
The website key is public by design, like a Google Maps browser key. It works only on your sites, runs only the skills you tick, and stops at its budget. Visitors see none of your files or data.
Questions we get
Is it OK that the key is in my code?
Yes. A website key is meant to be in your code, the same way Stripe publishable keys and Google Maps browser keys are. Keep it out of a secrets store: browser code can't read those.
Which frameworks?
React and Next.js through @skillyo/embed/react. Vue, Svelte, Angular and plain JavaScript through mount().
Do I need the package?
No. The one-line script tag works in any app today. The package adds events, inputs from your app, and a clean unmount.
Your app already has the data. Let a skill finish the job.
Start with a skill in Skillyo, then add it to your app with one component.
