Questions about credits

What is a credit?
A credit is a unit of usage. What a run costs depends mostly on how much you give a skill to work with, not how long the answer is. A quick note costs less than a skill that reads a full document or deck before responding. Building, editing, and browsing skills never uses credits.
What happens when I run out?
You can buy top-up credits any time, or upgrade to a plan with a higher monthly allowance. Nothing you've built is ever at risk; you just can't run new skills until you add more.
Do unused monthly credits roll over?
Your monthly allowance resets each billing cycle. Top-up credits work differently: they carry over and expire one year from purchase, not at the end of the month.
How does a Team account work?
One person pays for the team. Everyone's runs draw from the team's monthly credits, and you can set a credit budget for each member. You can also put collaborators in your Skillspaces on your bill.
Do people I invite need to pay?
On Free and Pro, yes. Anyone you invite to a shared Skillspace runs skills on their own account and credits. On a Team account, you can cover their usage instead.
Is there a limit on team size?
No. Team pricing isn't per seat. What's metered is usage: the team shares its monthly credits, plus any top-ups you add.
Can I cancel or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Downgrade from Team or Pro whenever you want. You'll keep access through the end of your current billing period.
