Skillyo MCP server

Connect any app that supports MCP to Skillyo. Then find and run your skills, read your results and your team's, and share, all from that app. Results land in Skillyo like any other run.

What you can do from your app

Build a skill once, then run it from whichever app each person uses. Your colleagues and clients don't have to switch to yours.

Each person, their own app

You might work in Claude while a colleague uses ChatGPT and a client uses Grok Bot. Each connects their own app, signs in as themselves, and runs the skills in the skillspaces you share with them.

One place for every result

Every run lands in the skillspace, marked with the app it came from, so you see what was made and by whom, and build on each other's work.

No AI account needed

Clients and partners without one fill in the same form in Skillyo or on your website, and get the same result.

Run your skillsFind a skill by what it does, fill in its form, run it, and get the result back in the chat.
ResultsFind past results, yours and your colleagues' in shared skillspaces, whichever app made them, and open one. Each says where it was run.
Get the resultAs PDF, Word, Markdown or a web page in its brand, or saved to your files in Skillyo.
What's newAsk what you missed: messages, shares, comments, colleagues' new results, your own runs that finished and invitations waiting for you.
Inbox and commentsRead messages and reply, and read or add comments on results.
Your teamAccept an invitation to a skillspace by its name, and see who is in each one and the skills they added.
ShareMake a link to a skill or result, or invite colleagues and clients to a skillspace by email. You confirm before anything is sent.
Add skillsAdd skills from the app to Skillyo, after a review: its own skills, instructions you keep there, or one written in the chat. Update or rename one you already have.
Skills on your websitePut a skill on a website or web app, free or on your credits within a monthly budget, and get the code for your app's agent to add. Then change, pause or take it off from the same chat.
Set upYour Profile, your brand, packs, and a skillspace's files and the context every skill there reads.

Set it up in your app

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector, name it Skillyo, and paste the address.
  3. Sign in to Skillyo when Claude asks, and allow access.
  4. In a chat, turn Skillyo on from + › Connectors, then ask for a skill by what it does.
  5. So Claude doesn't ask before each one, open Customize, then Connectors, then Skillyo, and set Read-only tools to Always allow.

Claude's Free plan takes one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it for everyone.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins and look for the option to add a custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Skillyo, paste the address, and choose OAuth if it asks how to sign in. Then create it.
  3. If Skillyo isn't installed yet, find it under your own plugins and add it. Sign in to Skillyo when ChatGPT asks, and allow access.
  4. In a chat, type @ and pick Skillyo, then ask for a skill by what it does.

Grok Bot

  1. In a Grok Bot chat, ask to add an MCP connection.
  2. When it asks which service, paste the address.

  1. In Grok, add an MCP server connection named Skillyo.
  2. Paste the address when it asks for one.

  3. Approve anything it wants to send, when it asks.

Muse

  1. In a Muse chat, ask it to add a custom connector for an MCP server.
  2. Paste the address when it asks for one.

  2. Paste the address. Name it Skillyo.
  3. Sign in to Skillyo when the app asks, and allow access.

Notion AI, Cursor and other apps that support MCP with sign-in.

Tools

Every tool an app's model can call, and what it changes. Each of your own skills also appears as a tool of its own (all of them up to 40; with more, your 25 most used, and the rest are found with search_skills). Calling one opens the skill's form, the same as run_skill.

You stay in control

  • Nothing that sends, shares or saves happens until you confirm: on Skillyo's card in apps that show one, or by saying yes.
  • The app reaches only the skillspaces you turned on for your apps (My skillspace to start), at Settings › Connectors, under Apps that can use Skillyo.
  • The owner of a shared skillspace decides whether its members may use it from their apps. A skillspace an app can't reach is invisible to it.
  • A monthly credit budget for apps can be set on the same page. At the budget, skills stop running from apps until next month or until it's raised. If your credits run out, the app says so and how to get more.
  • A skill you put on a website runs on your credits only within the monthly budget you set for it. Pause it or take it off from the chat or in Settings.
  • Disconnect one app, or every app at once, from that page. Results stay in Skillyo.

Data and privacy

  • Skillyo sees only what the app sends it: the inputs of a skill you run, files you add, and messages and comments you send. It doesn't read the rest of your conversation.
  • Runs happen in Skillyo. To run a skill, the app gets its title, description and inputs. Apps and agents you connect can also read and edit a skill's instructions when they help you build or improve it.
  • Results run from an app are kept in Skillyo, marked with where they were run from.
  • Skills you run from an app use your Skillyo credits, the same as in Skillyo.
  • Skillyo does not sell your personal information. Read the privacy policy and the terms.
  • Delete your account at app.skillyo.ai/settings/account.
